We’re just four days away from the Friday cutoff for state lawmakers to publish legislation they hope to get passed this year. And a lot like your author right before a deadline, we’re expecting to see a flurry of activity right before time’s up.

And Assemblymember Laura Friedman is planning to amend her AB 2256 to boost rooftop solar by including environmental and societal benefits in the way the CPUC calculates its value.
It’s the second wildlife connectivity bill introduced this year; Friedman’s AB 1889 would require cities and counties to add wildlife connectivity goals and policies to their general plans.
