SACRAMENTO, CA – Today, as part of this year’s California Small Business Day celebration, Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) recognized Crescenta Valley Insurance as the 43rd Assembly District’s 2019 Small Business of the Year. California Small Business Day is an annual celebration created by the passage of House Resolution 57 in 2000. SACRAMENTO – On Tuesday, the California State Assembly passed legislation introduced by Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) implementing a statewide prohibition on the sale and transfer of new fur products in California. The measure, Assembly Bill 44, would make California the first state in the nation to ban the sale or transfer of fur.
