Water & California: What Does The Future Hold?
The reality of climate change is intensifying droughts and affecting our water supply.
Wildfire Town Hall
Please join my colleagues and me for a wildfire town hall on Thursday, February 21st, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Pasadena High School Gymnasium.
The devastating wildfires witnessed over the past few years have taught us that it's no longer a question of if, but when the next disaster will strike in our region. How communities plan and prepare is critical and can save lives. That's why we are coming together to bring in the experts for this regional town hall in Pasadena to discuss:
- How residents can protect their homes from wildfires
- What wildfire prevention measures the utilities are implementing
- How the State of California is preparing for and responding to catastrophic wildfires.
I will be joining Assemblymembers Chris Holden, Blanca Rubio, and Ed Chau along with Senator Anthony Portantino to ask questions and facilitate an in-depth conversation around wildfire prevention.
This event is open to the public.
