Janet Diel (Burbank) has a prolific history of community service. From her childhood as a Girl Scout and work with local organizations, through marches and demonstrations for civil rights in the 1960s, to her decades of service to community boards and commissions, Janet has served our region well. She has served on Burbank’s Transportation Commission for 25 years, in numerous roles for the Burbank Tournament of Roses for 36 years, on the Burbank Unified School District School Facility Oversite Committee, as a member of the Burbank Advisory Council on Disabilities for 31 years, and has been the President and Campership Chair of the Burbank Coordinating Council for over three decades. She does all this while caring for her family, and working day-and-night to help and serve members of our community from every walk of life. She is a powerhouse of service and compassion.
