SACRAMENTO, CA – Governor Gavin Newsom has signed two bills, AB 1043 and AB 1044, improving political campaigns' ability to bolster their cybersecurity defenses and better safeguard California voter data.
Sacramento – Assemblymember Jacqui Irwin (D-Thousand Oaks) announced that funding for two new Ventura County programs have made it into the final California state budget bill. The bill will be voted upon before the June 15th deadline.
Sacramento – California is one of just six states lacking an integrated education data system that spans across levels of education and into the workforce. California’s existing data systems are disconnected and operate independently, meaning policymakers are unable to monitor student success across segments and answer critical questions about state progress towards educational attainment and workforce goals.
