(Sacramento) – Family and friends filled the State Assembly chambers as newly elected Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) took the oath of office alongside the other 79 members of the State Assembly. “It’s a huge honor. I feel very grateful for the trust people have put in me,” said the Assemblymember Friedman. “Right now housing costs and homelessness are among the biggest challenges facing the district.
