(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) joined a bipartisan majority of legislators in approving historic climate change legislation, Assembly Bill 398 and Assembly Bill 617. The combination of the two measures will create a statewide climate action plan and program to meet our emission reduction mandate, ensure economic prosperity and address critical health and air quality concerns. Assemblymember Freidman says she voted for the new climate change/air quality legislation because the old air quality regulations simply won’t do any longer. http://www.asmdc.org/friedman
