(Sacramento).- The pressure is mounting on the White House and the President to protect the five year old immigration program know as DACA. The program allos undocumented immigrants who entered the country as minors, to receive a two year period od deferred action from deportation and makes them eligible for a work permit. Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale) says she is standing by the nearly 800,000 young people know as "Dreamers" have benefitted from this program around the United States, over 200,000 of them are in California.
