(Sacramento) – Assemblymember Laura Friedman (D-Glendale), a member of the Select Committee on Health Care Delivery Systems and Universal Coverage, joined the Committee at the State Capitol for the first in a series of hearings to be held statewide on improving access and the delivery of health care. “I’m not a health care expert but you do not have to be an expert to believe our health care in America is fundamentally broken,” said Assemblymember Friedman. “We also don’t have to be experts to know that people die in this country because of a lack of access to quality, affordable health care.” Learn more in this Assembly Access video.
